BookFlix: Watch, Read, & Learn!

BookFLIX logoWPPL is proud to introduce BookFlix, an interactive literacy resource that builds a love of reading and learning – online!

BookFlix pairs classic fictional video storybooks with nonfiction eBooks to reinforce reading skills and develop essential real-world knowledge and understanding. It is accessible to every child – early readers, reluctant readers, and English Language Learners, with a WPPL library card.

Learning Centers

Every Monday afternoon from 4:00-5:00 PM, learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math using STEAM kits set up in stations around the PC Lab. Registration begins one week before each weekly meeting and space is limited. For grades 4 and 5.

Little Pim: Language Lessons for Kids!

Little Pim is a fun, interactive language system for young learners! Little Pim includes animated videos and other tools to make learning a language simpler for kids.

New Readers Club!

Are you a new reader? Are you up for a fun challenge? Then join the New Reader's Club! It's easy to do: just pick out a book you like to read, then practice, practice, practice, then read it aloud either to a librarian or--if you're shy--to our mascot, Poe! You'll get a certificate, and a sign will be posted to let everyone know that YOU are the newest reader at the library! YOU can do it!
