Adult Winter Reading Program

There's "snow" better time to read a good book! From February 1st through March 1st, read or listen to any book or ebook of your choice, fill out an entry form (either via our website or at the Ask Us and Reference Desks) and you could win a prize!

No registration is required, and you can read as many or as few books as you would like between those two dates. This program is open to adults 18 and over only.

Community Conversation: Evicted

Academic scholar, Dr. Megan Hatch of Cleveland State University will lead a rich and thoughtful conversation around the topic of eviction and its effect on the community. The purpose of the discussion is to engage both the public and community leaders in a conversation about the impact of housing insecurity on the region and shed light on the work being done by fair housing, veterans affairs, mental health and social services. Conversation will be based on Matthew Desmond?s book, Evicted, but it is not mandatory to read the book prior to program.
