Located to the right of the lobby information desk is the Book Nook, a used book store operated by the volunteer Friends of Porter Public Library. The Book Nook accepts used books (in good condition), CDs, DVDs and puzzles for re-sale, and also sells items removed from the library's collection. You won't find more reasonable prices anywhere. Paperbacks are $.50 or $1.00. Hardbound books are $1.00, and recent library discards are $2.00. There are a few specially priced books, usually $5.00 and under.

The BOOK NOOK will NOT be open on Sundays during the summer.  We will resume Sunday sales after Labor Day.
