Site preparation began March 21 with clearing of the ground. Extension of plumbing and electrical service is also underway.

Library users can get a front row seat from the reading and study area along the curved "window wall." Here a digging machine is used to begin clearing the garden site.
Digging machine scoops up earth. Outside the digger scoops up earth and debris in preparation for landscaping of the reading garden area.
Drainage pipes are installed. Drainage pipes go into trenches. Plants like water but too much of a good thing....
Checking plans/marking footers. Workers check plans and mark areas for digging construction footers.
