April construction photos...

Garden infrastructure work continues with some concrete footers poured and continued moving of earth and gravel.

The sign facing Center Ridge Road explains the hubbub to passersby!
Electrical conduit laid out. Underground electrical conduit is laid out to eventually power garden lighting. The tube in the foreground will become the base for a light post.
Concrete is delivered to the job site. Workers are busy with concrete, forms, and electrical conduit as a load is delivered to the garden construction site.
Tube is filled with concrete. Tube is filled with concrete to surround electrical conduit and form the solid base for a light post.
Plywood forms removed. Willis Plywood forms hold the shape of things to come...
Sculpted shapes appear. Guilford Sculpted shapes of the "mosaic tile sitting wall" appear as workers also remove forms from light pole bases and fill in some holes.
Masonry, substrate, and topsoil begin to arrive. Guilford Masonry, stone base material, and topsoil begin to arrive on site.

Late April snowfall on construction site. Guilford With protective plastic sheeting removed, the hardening concrete pathway is surrounded by April 25th's surprise snow! The snow quickly melted away and work continued.
First pavers placed. Guilford The snow's all gone and the first pavers are placed atop a smooth sand base.
