The village pump was the (literal) watering hole and gathering place for the whole community. Located at the crossroads of Dover and Center Ridge Roads, it was surrounded by important landmarks. Included here are: Dr. Lathrop's beautiful brick home and office, the grist mill, Pease Funeral Chapel, and the second General Store. This gathering place was captured in cloth by Susan Knight.
