The Dover Methodist Church still stands today, though under a different name: The Church of God. It is located on the north side of Center Ridge Road, just west of Dover Center Road, across from the present Porter Public Library. It is portrayed here by Gail Radke, without its short-lived steeple. The steeple, added later, was blown off in a storm.
