The Central Panel of Westlake's 175th Anniversary Quilt shows fiber artist Sue Haviland's representation of early Dover. At the very top Sue shows Lake Erie and the forests of North Dover (now Bay Village). Also depicted are the ridges formed by the diminishing lake as well as a mill, farm, orchard, and vineyard -- all very representative of early life in Dover.
