Food and Beverages in the Library Policy

Covered beverages and small snack foods may be brought into the library. However, food and beverages are strictly prohibited in the Electronic Services Area and at all computer work stations. Carry-out meals/pizzas, etc. are not permitted in the library. Beverage containers and food wrappers must be disposed of in wastebaskets. Partially consumed beverages should be emptied into a sink before disposal. Children, under the age of 10, bringing in a food or beverage must be accompanied by an adult.
