Try our new Discovery Catalog!

Magnifying glass over catalog page

The library has introduced a new online catalog with a modern look and a search that works more like Bing or Google than older library catalogs. It also includes digital materials from major digital vendors, allowing easy access to eBooks, eAudiobooks and other formats. It’s ready for users to try:

The new online tool allows searching based on everyday language – more like a search engine than a traditional library catalog. In most cases, you won’t need to think about whether you’re searching for an author, title or subject. Simply type your search words and go! The search results feature "facets" you can use to narrow your results down to the exact library materials you desire.

In addition to an advanced search, the Discovery Catalog allows you to check out digital materials straight from the catalog, reducing the steps needed before you can enjoy your eBooks and digital audiobooks. Titles in various formats are available from cloudLibrary, OverDrive, RBdigital (formerly OneClick), and Hoopla. Under My Account, you can monitor due dates and holds queues for digital materials.

With other new features, catalog users can:

  • Store lists of library materials in My Lists. These can be reading lists, homework help lists, recommendations for friends – anything in the catalog can be added to a list.
  • Easily print or email search results or individual catalog records.
  • Limit a search to show only titles currently available in the library.

If you still prefer our older catalog, you have nothing to worry about. It will still be available at
