The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Cover of The Unhoneymooners by Christina LaurenOlive Torres has always been the unlucky twin.  Until now.  When the buffet at her sister’s wedding reception becomes a source of food poisoning, she finds herself spared for once. Also spared is the best man and Olive’s mortal enemy, Ethan.  There was a time when they might’ve been a couple, but mixed signals and petty assumptions have landed them directly in each other’s crosshairs.

Now there’s a honeymoon to be salvaged and the bride and groom insist that Olive and Ethan go instead. After all, Olive is Ami’s identical twin and Ethan is the groom’s brother so it should go off without a hitch.  Needless to say, 10 days of close quarters and unexpected run-ins at the resort result in some surprising revelations, not just about Olive and Ethan but also for the real bride and groom. When the return to reality brings some harsh consequences with it, Olive must decide what to do with the fallout. Will she let more misunderstandings separate her from Ethan again or will the unhoneymooners have a happily ever after?

A humorous romance full of snarky angst that fans of Sally Thorne’s The Hating Game will love. Olive and Ethan have a good chemistry that translates well into romantic scenes that are minimally graphic.  A great summer beach read.

Christina Lauren is a pen name for a coauthor duo that have written over two dozen romances together. Love and Other Words is also highly recommended and look for Twice in a Blue Moon releasing this October.
