Earth Day

The 49th anniversary of Earth Day is Monday April 22. You can celebrate Earth Day with your child many different ways.  You can take a walk in the park, donate unwanted items to a local charity, go to a farmers market, or go for a bike ride It is always a good opportunity to teach your child to appreciate nature and be conscious of the waste he/she produces.

You can also read Awesome Dawson written and illustrated by Chris Gall.  Awesome Dawson is a story of a young man who finds a use for everything. It is an inspiring story and encourages the reader to be more resourceful. Our Earth Day craft uses recycled materials.
