Spotlight on CIFF41

Cleveland International Film Festival tickets go on sale this Friday, March 15th at 11 am. The library is pleased to offer a $1.00 discount on each ticket (discount code PORTER). In the meantime, check out our selection of films which screened at previous festival years.  Pass the Popcorn is happy to make some recommendations! Here are a few of our favorites from CIFF41:

The HippopotamusIn the mood for a quirky British comedy? Check out The Hippopotamus, starring Matthew Modine and Roger Allam and Fiona Shaw. Based on the book of the same name by Stephen Fry, The Hippopotamus offers a dose of clever, cheeky humor.

Lost in ParisIf you want your quirkiness in French, then Lost in Paris is a must see. CIFF41 called it "as goofy as it is delightful—as if a Wes Anderson film courted a Jacques Tati film".
