The 2019 Grammy Awards nominees have been announced!

The 61st annual Grammy Awards are set to take place on Feb. 10, 2019. The annual awards show is a celebration of all things music, and that includes plenty of country, Americana, folk and roots categories, too.

The televised 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony, meanwhile, will be available to stream online via and as it happens. For the third year in a row, James Corden will host the Grammy Awards in 2019.

Change is in the air at the Recording Academy. For the 2019 Grammy Awards, in the all-genre "big four" categories of Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, the number of nominees will be increased from five to eight. The Recording Academy hopes that this change will better reflect the diverse eligible artists and recordings.
