A great selection of CIFF films from prior years is available on kanopy and hoopla or on DVD /Bluray here at the library. If you are interested in seeing a sweeping family saga check out the Italian film I Am Love on hoopla. https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/11049569

I Am Love, which was featured in CIFF34 in 2010, is the story of the Recchi family, the pivotal events which occur during a reunion at the family villa and resulting fallout.   This film has been described as an impressionistic story of passion and change.  It is set in the Milanese countryside and stars Tilda Swinton, Flavio Parenti,Edoardo Gabbriellini, Alba Rohrwacher, Pippo Delbono, and Marisa Berenson.  (In Italian and Russian with subtitles).

More in the mood for a sweet romantic comedy? Log into your kanopy account and check out Bread and Butter . https://westlakelibrary.kanopy.com/video/bread-and-butter
Bread and Butter is an upbeat comedy about looking for love, thinking of romance, and finding yourself. Amelia is a 30-year-old looking for her first boyfriend and--even with the help of her eccentric boss, her overbearing parents, and her best friend--her luck seems to be running out. With her nose buried in a book, she finds romance with a stranger who has left notes in the margins and soon finds herself entranced. This charming and funny film features a charming and funny cast, including  Bobby Moynihan, Christine Weatherup, Dawn Didawick, Eric Lange, Harry Groener, Lauren Lapkus, Micah Hauptman, and Sean Wright.
And, right here in the library you can find the DVD or Bluray of Lost in Paris.  Sit back and get ready for the delightful and quirky story of Fiona, a Canadian librarian in Paris searching for her missing aunt, and Dom, an affable vagabond who unexpectedly gets involved with her life.
