Happy January!

InuitHopefully everyone is staying warm.  We have a little break, but the temperature is supposed to dip again this weekend.  These frigid temperatures don't allow for much time to spend outside.  While you are enjoying your time indoors with your children you can read Mama, Do You Love Me?  written by Barbara M. Joosse and illustrated by Barbara Lavallee.

Mama, Do You Love Me? is a heartwarming tale of an Inuit mother and child.  The child is reassured no matter what happens his mother will always love him.  The book inlcudes many definitions regarding Inuit culture and colorful illustrations.  Reading this book is sure to lead to an eductional discussion regarding the Inuit population.
