The Mother Daughter Book Club is the first book in a series about four girls whose mothers make them join a mother-daughter book club. The girls are reluctant at first, but then as they get to know each other, they have lots of adventures together. I would recommend this book definitely to girls. It's a very enjoyable book, and when you read this, you should read the other books, too: Much Ado About Anne, Dear Pen Pal, and Pies and Prejudice.
