Pout Fish

fishThe Pout Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen and Illustrated by Dan Hanna tells the story of a very sad fish.  All Pout Pout fish can do is spread his gloominess all over the ocean.  His ocean friends attempt, but are unable to cheer him up.  The end of the book is a cheery surprise.

The Pout Pout Fish is a fun rhythmic book to read to children.  Children also enjoy the colorful illustrations.  Be sure to make this book and craft  part of your summer reading.
