The title alone made me want to pick this book up and read it. And the blurb on the cover that called it "Like the X-files written by Tom Clancy" didn't hurt either.
As you could probably guess from the title, the US government has a special group of Navy SEALs specifically assembled to deal with paranormal and supernatural phenomenon. They often go in ahead of "official" SEAL teams to clear out the spooky stuff.
The newest member of SEAL team 666 is Jack Walker. He gets pulled out of SEAL training early specifically to join the team. They recruit him specifically because of his background. See, when jack was a kid he was possessed by a demon. That experience left him with the ability to detect paranormal activity before coming in contact with it. A nice ability to have in this situation, or a least it would be if the experience didn't leave him physically paralyzed. he's trying to work through that, but in the meantime he also has to learn to follow orders, even if his gut tells him differently.
Battling demons, possessed humans, mass-murdering cults, and evil in its most dark and primeval form, SEAL Team 666 has their work cut out for them. And the book leaves itself open to the possibility of a sequel or even a series, so keep your eyes open.
You can find SEAL Team 666 in the Fiction section of the new book room.
