I recently read the book Variant by Robison Wells and definitely recommend that you read it when you can. Having grown up his whole life bouncing from foster home to foster home, Benson Fisher finally thinks he caught a break when he gets an invitation to attend the boarding school Maxfield Academy. However, as he arrives at the academy, he notices razor-wire fences, massive walls, cameras everywhere and no adults. When Benson finally finds out the real secret behind this place, he knows he has to get out, even though it may lead to his death. This "academy" seems more like a prison than a school. Maybe it is...
SPORTS!
I'm not usually one to brag... BUT my predictions for the French Open were a slam dunk. Azarenka easily handled Sharapova in straight sets (6-3, 6-0), while Djokovic eventually took down Nadal (5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-5), in an epic five set masterpiece that set the record for longest Grand Slams finals match EVER. That being said, I'm pretty much guaranteed to pick the winner of the Super Bowl correctly because I'm so smart. After hour upon hour of careful, painstaking research, I've decided that the winner will be the New England Patriots. It's actually very painful for me to make this prediction because the Pats are one of my least favorite teams in the NFL, but it just isn't that easy to beat the same team twice in one year. Ask LSU how their rematch in the BCS championship game fared for them...
