WordWeaver had a wonderful time reading new words and following the story of ten-year-old pick pocket Molly as she is arrested in 1730 London and banished to America as an indentured servant. Will she be ever able to get back to London? Or remain a servant in America?
Some new meanings of words that WordWeaver learned: done over = hanged; file the cly = to pick a pocket; cove = a man or boy; bolt-hole = a hidden escape route.
