Academic scholar, Dr. Megan Hatch of Cleveland State University will lead a rich and thoughtful conversation around the topic of eviction and its effect on the community. The purpose of the discussion is to engage both the public and community leaders in a conversation about the impact of housing insecurity on the region and shed light on the work being done by fair housing, veterans affairs, mental health and social services. Conversation will be based on Matthew Desmond?s book, Evicted, but it is not mandatory to read the book prior to program.
